Roderick’s transformation of Schubert’s lucid piano part brings a fresh perspective to the tale of the wandering miller, with its intense drama and sweeping Romanticism. Schubert’s passionate melodies trace a journey through unrequited love to ultimate despair. A rare opportunity to hear familiar music reimagined.
