The brilliant young musicians of NYOS Camerata make a triumphant return to the Tryst with Strauss’s beloved opera Der Rosenkavalier reimagined for wind ensemble by Nigel Shore. Experience the splendour of Old Vienna through Strauss’s lush melodies and elegant waltzes, following the opera’s three acts and its heartwarming tale of love and humour. Under Catherine Larsen-Maguire’s direction, these fifteen talented wind players transform Strauss’s masterpiece into a musical journey that retains all the romance and wit of the original opera.
