Karen Cargill and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Young Artists

Tryst audiences will remember the internationally renowned Scottish mezzo-soprano Karen Cargill opening our festival in 2021 and now, she’s making her return to Cumnock for another very special event. Karen was appointed Associate Artist at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in 2019 and each year, selects promising young artists to mentor, guide and perform alongside her. Following an intensive week-long residency at Drumlanrig Castle, supported by the Buccleuch Living Heritage Trust, Karen and her young artists will take to the stage in a specially curated programme which will also include Karen performing solo repertoire.

Please Note: the venue for this event has changed to Trinity Church, rather than St John’s Church as previously advertised.
