BBC SSO & The Cumnock Tryst Festival Chorus

Saturday 4th October 2025 7:30pm
Barony Hall

Our Festival Chorus once again partners with the brilliant BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra for an evening of uplifting musical collaborations. The centrepiece is the Scottish premiere of American composer Taylor Scott Davis’s radiant Magnificat, with guest singers from his Texas church choir joining local voices. The programme also features Dvořák’s charming Serenade for Wind Instruments, with its infectious Czech folk melodies and dance rhythms, alongside James MacMillan’s beautiful Benedicimus Deum caeli. Join us for a truly international gathering of vocal and orchestral excellence.
