Returning by popular demand, Ayrshire’s very own fiddle virtuoso Alastair Savage returns to The Cumnock Tryst’s late-night series with an all-star ensemble including some of Scotland’s finest traditional musicians. Alastair is joined on stage by long-time collaborators Euan Drysdale (guitar/piano) and BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra’s Iain Crawford (double bass) alongside the brilliantly versatile Brontë Hudnott (flute) and celebrated piper Chris Gibb. This exceptional gathering of talent promises a warm celebration of Scotland’s rich musical heritage, in an evening of spellbinding melodies that will captivate both folk enthusiasts and curious newcomers alike.
