The Cumnock Tryst Artists in Residence, Eamonn Dougan and his colleagues from The Sixteen will take choral singers through their paces in a mixed programme. Could this be the start of something truly exciting in choral life in Cumnock and Doon Valley?
— James MacMillan

If you have some experience of choral singing we want you to Come and Sing. Led by Eamonn Dougan and three singers from The Sixteen, our Come and Sing Day will take you through a mixture of styles from popular to early and modern classical vocal part music, including Alleluia (Boyce), Miserere (Purcell) and O Radiant Dawn (MacMillan). The finale of the day will see participants perform in an informal concert.

Tickets must be bought in advance from the Box Office. Bring snacks and a packed lunch – complimentary tea, coffee and soft drinks will be available throughout the day. Participants should be able to read music and have experience of singing in parts.

Come and Sing Day Concert

This is a chance for relatives and friends – and anyone else! – to come and hear the results of our Come and Sing Day at an informal concert in the Boswell Community Centre.

Tickets are free, and available on a first come first served basis on the door.
